AC / DC

I do like many songs from AC/DC, but I think I went to this concert to close a chapter on my life.  When I was 9, my first 2 albums were AC/DC, Highway to Hell and Gene Simmons, KISS solo album.  I've kept this in my mind since then.  I was able to go see KISS about a year ago and now was able to see AC/DC.  They came twice to Munich, however I could not get a ticket to the Olympic Hall.  The tickets sold out in under 15 minutes for both concerts and the prices for tickets in the Hall never came down to a reasonable amount.  I was lucky enough to get a ticket at a good price for the concert in Olympic Stadium.  I purchased a standing ticket because I wanted to get to the front.  When I got there I learned there were 3 different levels of standing tickets.  I got the lowest level...bummer.  I have a tendency to get to the concert too early, so by the time the headliner starts I am already pretty tired.  In the future, I will plan a little better.  Anyway, there were 2 opening bands, first one no idea who it was, the second band was The Answer.  I must say that they were just ok and was happy when they were done.  Perhaps big bands bring along unknowns to give them a chance to make it big...get their name out.  AC / DC has such loyal fans who come just to see them and no other.  I think this is the reason why a more popular band wouldn't want to open for them.  Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, but I think the organizers should make the whole show enjoyable, not just the headliner.  Awesome, Awesome, Awesome... Bou...BouBouBou...BouBouBou...<Back In Black>  was fantastic. They played very well and I sang along to a few of the songs I knew the words to.  It started raining about 1 hour into the show and I got soaked, but so did the other 80,000 people there.  They had the pyrotechnics, lights, jumbo screens, fireworks and the music to make it one of the best concerts I have attended.  One of the guys I go to Rock Am Ring with went to the show in Leipzig and said it was awesome too.  This closes a chapter in my life because I have now seen the two bands whose album I bought first.  The End!
